Vacation House Check Program

The City of Bellbrook Police Department has a Vacation House Check program. The department provides a free residential security check for residents who go on vacation or are away from their home for an extended period. The Vacation House Check program is part of the Bellbrook Police Department’s greater goal of keeping the City of Bellbrook a safe community in which to live and work.

Drug Drop Box 

For your convenience, the Police Department has a drug drop box available to dispose of old or unwanted prescription and over the counter medication. The drop box is located inside the Police Department Lobby and is available Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm.

Pills should be in their original container or a sealed Ziplock bag (please do not place loose pills into the drop box). We do not accept liquids or sharps/needles. For information on how to dispose of needles or sharps, please contact your local health department.

Permits

Solicitors
Individual or businesses wishing to go door-to-door in neighborhoods must obtain a Solicitors Permit prior to entering the neighborhoods.  A background check will be completed on each individual involved.  A resident has the right to request proof of a Solicitors Permit.

Block Party
For block parties, you must obtain a Special Event Permit by clicking here: Block Party Permit Information. For questions, call 937-848-4666.

- Applicants should obtain the signatures of the owners of the residences inside the area to be blocked by traffic.

- Applicants need to describe the area to be closed, date and times.

- Residents are advised to consider having a rain date for the event.
