IF YOU MAIL YOUR UTILITY BILL PAYMENT, VERIFY THE ADDRESS!

9 months ago, the City no longer had access to a P.O. Box to receive utility bill payments.  Announcements were made and the mailing address has been posted on all printed and sent bills.  Unfortunately, some are still sending bills to the wrong address.

 

If you use auto-pay or a check through your bank, you will need to contact them to update the address to send the payment.  Failure to do so gets the payment sent back to the bank as undeliverable and it is likely you are not notified.

 

The City cannot be responsible for payments not received on time due to being sent to the wrong address, or not sent early enough for ontime mail delivery.  To avoid late fees or non-payment notices in this situation, VERIFY THE ADDRESS WHERE YOUR PAYMENT IS BEING SENT AND MAIL AT LEAST 10 DAYS PRIOR TO THE DUE DATE.

This helps accommodate the unanticipated delays in U.S. Postal Service delivery 

 

By registering, you will have access to your bill online and it will be emailed to you.  In addition, you still have the option to pay online, mail, or drop off payment.
